Initially, I was going to copy one of the many personal statements that I've written over the years in this section, but as I reviewed them, none quite expressed the gravity of this moment, so here goes...

I believe everyone has three stories: one that others are writing about us, one that we are currently writing, and one that we aspire to write. We don't have too much control over the first story, but the pursuit of making those last two as similar as possible is something that has always fascinated me.

Dear Millennial is a love letter to all who grapple with this ability and inability to have these three narratives co-exist, written through the lens of the first generation to see the receipts of the final moments of their adolescence on a Big Data and Social Media scale.

For the Millennial, the catharsis between our dreams and our reality can be utterly daunting, but we don't just say that anything is possible; we've actually seen it.

With that being said, I’d like to share exactly what I’ve seen, heard, thought, and felt during this dynamic growth… with you.
